20th Century Mercenaries

In 2020, journalists Ilya Barabanov and Nader Ibrahim wrote an exclusive news report;The lost tablet and the secret documents. Their report detailed information found from a smashed tablet, discovered on the Libyan battlefield. The tablet belongs to a Russian mercenary group and contain information about Frontline, fighting methods, equipment, list, and military maps. After several months of investigation and research, Barabanov and Ibrahim were positive, the tablet provided proof the Russian government supported the mercenary group. The information I read in the 2020 news report was shocking, but undoubtedly needed to be reported. Many people ignore global issues that pertain to war or the government, but I’m proud of the journalist for bravery reporting on this topic.
