We are halfway through 2024, and we have so many great videogames to play! I love videogames, they help me pass the time whenever I'm free from working a lot. In this little blog, I will recommend three great games that released this year so far!
Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth is a sequel to Final Fantasy 7: Remake. A very thrilling, cinematic RPG that unlike any other Final Fantasy that is turn-based, Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth is real time! This game takes around fifty hours to beat, and over 150 hours if you are a completionist! I recommend this game because I personally love the plot, it is very engaging with many twists and turns, and can be emotional.
2. Tekken 8. Tekken is one of the big three of fighting games, that millions play around the world. Tekken, I will be honest, the story is really bad BUT the gameplay is always the best part of Tekken. In Tekken 8, there are 32 playable characters, almost each with over 100 over!!! Mastering a character can take weeks, and mastering every single one, well can take years. I have been having a blast playing Tekken 8, and that is why I recommend it!
3. Last but not least, A DLC! I know, not brand-new videogame, but an expansion to Elden Ring. The expansion is called "Shadow of the Erdtree" and is very difficult. More than 40 bosses were added, the map is big, and it takes 25 hours to beat! The game is still a masterpiece years later, again raising the bar to open world games.
