Artificial Intelligence has taken the world by storm since its release and is often deemed the most important invention of all of human race. This is simply due to the wide vistas of knowledge it has the potential of presenting while also reducing the time consumed in bringing about simple tasks into action. While this has been one of the best innovations of all time, it has come with problems that make it worse and far more dangerous than anything we have ever seen. “Since May, websites hosting AI-created false articles have increased by more than 1,000 percent”, is a metric presented by NewsGuard, a company that specializes in tracking misinformation. Artificial Intelligence is not only used to just create false narratives through articles, but it now also uses technology that helps in producing real looking evidence that makes it even harder to know what is real and what is not, as was the case with the Iranian propaganda involving Israeli Prime Minister’s psychiatrist.
