Bridgerton is a moody passion driven TV show on Netflix based off of Julia Quinn's the Duke and I. The show is an aged-up Euphoria taken place during the regency period of the Great kingdom of England. While yes, the entire show centers on the romance issues of the Bridgerton family and their journey through the turmoiled events of high society. the show, in many ways demonstrates the ways our society and theirs interact with the media. The show has a nation-wide famous journalist that spills secrets from the leaders of "society", and regardless of her lack of proof the journalist's words are taken as a fact from everyone, even the monarchy. this can be an easily drawn comparison to how some people simply read articles and find fact in the fiction.
