Collin County Debrief

I currently reside within the Northern suburb are that is Collin County. I have resided within Collin county for over two decades now and it is fascinating to see how the cities around me have developed, here's a neat article and photo I came across on the web, Collin County Then And Now.

In this series of blog posts, I will discuss and digest local news items in an attempt to spark dialogue with individuals and peers around me.

The Post discusses how Collin County was basic "farmland" to begin with, while now livestock is cooked and sold on every busy intersection. The MSN magazine blog post acts as a blast from the past, spitting facts from the first records of people living off of the same land over 100 years ago. My favorite fun fact from the article post, is on the discussion of homes that were sold for "500-2,000 dollars". With inflation and just how currency is utilized over time that is a shocking number to see and read.
