I wanted to find how various news websites share and display news when first entering their website. I searched the first three news sites I could think of and put them each in their own tab. Switching between Fox News, CNN, and BBC, I noticed that different stories regarding Trump's assasination attempt were the first things to appear. Fox's headline was "Trump says he was in the dark as Secret Service hunted would-be assassin," CNN's was "Trump holds his first rally since assassination attempt," and BBC's was "Trump tells thousands at Michigan rally he 'took a bullet for democracy.'" Each website appealed to the public by using a very recent and big event to draw the reader in to their reports.
