I previously have never been interested in journals or blogs, but one of my passions is traveling especially cruises. As I was exploring everyone's profile and all of the exhilarating places people have traveled, I ran across Johnny Jet's profile. As a young adult, I connected with Jets' profile because he was talking about all the tips and tricks to spend an amazing family vacation. I enjoyed how Jet included a photo of his family in his blog. I enjoyed how he connected with the public through his personal experience, especially when he stated, "This cruise was really for all of us to relax after the craziness of the holidays. We were also with my wife’s sister and her family. My kids (ages 7 and 4) are pretty much obsessed with their 10-year-old Canadian cousin Aria so it was a special trip all around." Jet explains throughout his journal what each family member enjoyed about the cruise and what everyone experienced was not just his own. He influenced me by connecting with his audience in a very personal/vulnerable way and connected to the public with his experience with all the different ages within his family.
