In this day and age, it's almost impossible to avoid misinformation when such tools as artificial intelligence, automation and social media pedal news as quickly as it is spoken, without review or varication. Bot accounts pushing fake news, cycling false information through social platforms and accepting information without question are dangerous ways to approach news. Thankfully there are methods to learn to spot these dangers. Clean Elections (https://www.azcleanelections.gov/election-security/avoiding-misinformation) has a strong list of suggestions on how to deal with misinformation, offering a short guide to teach its readers how to spot false information and bot accounts. You may think that you're self-aware enough to not be taken in by these tricks but knowing "Facebook reported that it removed more than 6.59 billion fake accounts from October 2018 through September 2019." It's hard to imagine that some misinformation hasn't slipped through. Consider your mindset when approaching information, especially information you find online and better protect yourself against its negative effects.
