Front pages before vs.now

The covers are a little blurry but the first cover is from the Great Recession from 2007-2009 and the second cover below states that it is from "dramatic news of a mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, to try to overturn the presidential election". The difference I see in these is that they used to be a bit more creatuve with cartoons symbolizing what is going on, now we use images of people which is a lot more basic I would say and just doesn't make the cover as intesresting anymore. The cartoons give it a more dramtic, making people think the economy is in serious trouble which it was and they get informed of the situation while the image is just showing people going into the Capitol which is something we already know.
