How do we uncover truth?

To search for actual investigative journalists, I did what many other people would do: type in keywords "investigative journalist" into the Twitter search bar and click the people tab for those who wrote that they WERE investigative journalists in their bios. Going through these profiles, it is clear that the motive behind investigative journalism transcends culture. I came across people whose backgrounds were not even remotely similar, and yet how their tweets were framed DID look similar; they always shared a powerful/interesting message to accompany a main form of media. It was like, "This is what I believe. Now look at this evidence of why I believe what I believe, yourself." I found many investigative journalists spreading information about the Israel-Palestinian conflict. These journalists did not hesitate to share emotion-provoking images and videos to make their points clear. As one African journalist said, "If you find my tweets to be provocative, insensitive, explicit, against your beliefs/agenda...please unfollow me...I'm not here to live up to your expectations neither you are here to live up to mine." These bold, thoughtful figures are who uncover our truths in time.
