Is Political Bribery Now Legal?

On Wednesday, June 26th, the Supreme Court ruled on Synder v. United States. The ruling narrowed the definition of political bribery, ruling that gifts given after acts aren't considered bribes. The court ruling will underline anti-corruption cases. Justice Kavanaugh wrote the ruling, which was 6-3.
In response to the Supreme Court ruling, Justice Jackson wrote, "Officials who use their public positions for private gain threaten the integrity of our most important institutions."The new Supreme Court ruling can increase distrust in government officials and the leverage of wealthy people.
There should be more media attention to such events, but the US media still focuses more on soft news than serious events.
