Noteworthy Journalist

I began looking for interesting journalist’s and what stories they were reporting on. Although, I haven’t heard of her previously the journalist who piqued my interest first was Christiane Amanpour. “The British-Iranian journalist’s career spans three decades, and she has won multiple awards for her ground-breaking reporting, including nine Emmys.” (Prolly, 2023) She is the chief international anchor for CNN. As well as the host of CNNi and PBS’s nightly global affairs program. She has reported from countless conflict zones including Iraq, Rwanda, and Afghanistan. Plus, she has interviewed countless world leaders from Hosni Mubarak to Muommar Gadhafi. She uses rhetorical strategies like emotional appeal, credibility, storytelling technique, ethical journalism, and global perspective. She has crafted a lovable persona and effectively communicate international new stories, connects with her audience, and it builds credibility.
