The news article headlining “Determination after attack, Trump says” puts the most relevant information on the front page and related topics to that subject or person. The picture that attracts the viewer’s attention is of Trump raising his arm with an enclosed fist in front of the American flag projected on the screen during his speech. The following text alludes to Trump, while the mention of Biden has a smaller text, yet it appears with the same bolded font. Across all the front pages, most of them align with the most relevant politics, mentioning Donald Trump or Joe Biden, and other political figures. Some of the key words / phrases I found pertaining to Trump in a more pathos sense are: “somber,” “brush with death softens tone,” and a headline of “Running against dystopia” published by StarTribune. Conclusively, there are many visual strategies employed on these front covers that call upon the reader’s attention with the most prevalent topics, though it could implicate bias.
