Have you ever considered what has changed about journalism? What might about what change in the future when it comes to journalism? The most realistic answer is that you may have not even noticed a difference as change tends to happen slowly. Surely enough, journalism is not the same as it used to be and will look different in the next 10 years even.
Andrew Golis has said that “Artificial Intelligence will bring both beauty and horror into world.” His prediction is that AI is already flooding our news sites and social media with fake news and that it will continue to worsen as the 2024 elections rear up this year. While this may be a scary thought, Golis sounds optimistic that this could lead us to form communities off social platforms.
This is just one example of where journalism might lead into the future. It’s always in our best interest to stay ahead of it by being properly informed on the news around us. Maybe one day, AI will be our future journalists.
