The front page of a newspaper could be said to be a work of art with visual rhetoric. The blending of the text and imagery, being able to capture the readers' attention while being able to convey critical information at just a glance, is a masterclass.

This example uses the layout of a bold headline in "MEMORIALIZING A BURIED HISTORY" and a central image with a couple of smaller stories and images spread throughout the rest of the page. The method's purpose is to draw the reader to the main story quickly. It also uses minimal text to communicate the main topic of the story. The front page is a powerful tool for storytelling.
