News as we know is spread in a variety of ways, but I think the most unique of those is by TikTok. TikTok doesn't spread news in a normal way. In fact the news is spread by the people themselves. Rather than news reporters, people come across news and decide to share it with their followers and the public by turning them into memes, or funny videos. The most interesting thing that I have seen is news spread by the SpongeBob news fish, always beginning a video with "BREAKING NEWS". As one might expect, it is outrageous and could be seen as false news, but it is one of the most accurate and reliable sources there is on this social media app.
