The headlines of today’s front pages were varying in content. Some publications focused on the United States’ Olympic journey, some on comments Former President Trump made about Vice President Kamala Harris, or even some on the death of Hamas’ leader. Others even focused on local issues or relevant pop culture issues. I thought it was interesting how each of these publications phrased their headlines surrounding these topics, some blatantly pro or against certain things. I find it interesting how you can tell so much about the direction of the content by just reading the headline on the front page. All in all, I found it interesting how each publication emphasized and highlighted a variety of content and was able to focus on what they wanted. I think the idea of being able to dictate what is shared in this context of a front page is up to the publication and is their right under the First Amendment. I appreciate the variety of opinions present and information available.
