Charlie Beckett writes about his view on trusting the news he wrote something powerful. “Of course I don’t trust the news media collectively, or automatically. I trust some brands some of the time.” Beckett's title alone was chilling to read in itself, “The obsession with “trust” will end”. I found that an interesting title because in today's news, trusting that everything that is told to you is the truth is insane. To even gather more of the truth one has to obtain that by searching and doing research on their own. In this article it describes the surveys that are done to prove that the news channel is trustworthy or most believed as trustworthy. I agree completely with what was written in the article because truthfully you cannot truly gauge how trustworthy a news channel really is. It is all about perspective which can never fully be the full truth if the opposing perspective doesn't get shown at all. All in all I do think his prediction is correct. Trust will soon go out the window completely with news media. I loved his perspective so I added him at the top of my blog, Charlie Beckett himself.
