Are journalist able to trust others in their field? There are many talks on how journalists are using trust surveys it take them to the bottom. Why? Due to it not being trustworthy. I read the Neimanlabs Predictions for Journalism in 2024". The Specific article I chose was "The Obsession with Trust Will End" by Charlie Beckett. "As a journalist (or professor!), I never asked to be trusted. I never trusted anyone else without good reason, so why should I ask the same of the public? " this is what Charlie had to say about trust. I can barely even trust my siblings so let's say journalists would have to be strong to see where they have to get their information. This is one of the most popular problems journalists have faced so far this year in 2024.Charlie believes they'll be able to stop this as a problem if journalists just start trusting themselves.
