As a religious man who has defended his faith, I have learned so much and opened my mind up to other religions. From what I learned Islam specifically teaches and renounces that Jesus is God and in doing so confirms the teachings of Jesus being a sinless man. What I struggle with the most is that Christianity came before Islam 600 years prior, and was first persecuted because of faith in Jesus Christ until 200 years after when a Roman Emperor made it legal. Christianity teaches in Galatians 1:8 "But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed" This passage came 600 Years before Islam. The creation of Islam is that Mohammed the acclaimed prophet of Islam met an angel in a cave that verbally revealed the Quran to him. When choosing a religion I would tell people to research the main figure of the religion. When comparing Jesus to Mohammed it is night and day, Jesus never killed anybody rather Mohammed had nonbelievers killed, Jesus never led armies, but Mohammed did, Jesus never had a wife, Mohammed had 12 including a 6-year-old wife named Aisha whom he later consummated the marriage when she was 9. Jesus never owned slaves nor promoted them, Mohammed allowed slavery but didn't allow Muslims to be slaves Jesus never allowed violence, and Mohammed allowed husbands to beat their wives. There are so many more details that the average American does not know about Islam and with my blog I hope to open the eyes of other people. Many people believe that Christianity is an oppressive religion but simply have never studied or done research on Islamic countries. People can say horrifying words about Christianity to Christians and not be touched why you may ask, because Christians believe god gave all of us free will to do as we please. Now if someone did that to Islam in an Islamic country they would be torched in the streets, and made a lesson to all people, then finally killed. Some people might say what about the Crusades, here's the answer. The whole Middle East was all Christian before Islam came. Islam was spread by the sword meaning you either had to become a Muslim or die. Is that a religion of peace, no not at all, back to what I said about the Crusades it took Three centuries of Islamic aggression until the Christian kingdoms fought back. Islamic Jihadists made it up to France until The crusades happened and pushed them back to the Middle East. People also believe white Christians started slavery which isn't true slavery was a common practice back in the day, in addition, France a white Christian country was the first country to ban slavery, while the country to do it last was Mauritania an Islamic country in 1981. My last fact is that people also believe Christianity is a European religion frankly which is not true at all. It was first introduced to Africa before Europe, meaning it's not just a white man's religion.
