According to MIT news “A new study found that fake news spreads more rapidly on Twitter than real news does—and by a substantial margin”. So how does this misinformation spread quicker than actual real news? Well, this is due to the intentional or unintentional user generating content that is not exactly the full truth. Some people do this  clout, as a way to gain followers and likes. While other people do this accidentally because it was something they saw on a different internet source and believed it to be true. Being well informed social media users is important in our current society if we want to stay informed and educated about real news in our world.
