who is the derby desperado? and why is he robbing Dallas, Tx banks?

the "derby desperado" if its not for the corny name itself, this man has robbed two banks so far in dallas. so is he corny or dangerous?
July 3rd, 2024, desperado robbed a texans credit union bank in Garland, Tx.
July 12, 2024, desperado robbed a capital one bank in Dallas, Tx
he is said to have shown up wearing a flashy suit and a fedora. what he does is he walks up to the bank teller while he is talking fairly loud on the phone and hands them a piece a paper with intructions that this is a bank robbery. he then escapes in a black suv.
how did he get away with this? was he armed? there are so many unanswered questions and such little evidence. this is an issue in our local community because when and where is his next target?
