An Emotional take

There are three basic concepts that journalist will and can use in their writings. Ethos, Pathos and Logos. Pathos being the one that tugs on your heart strings and tends to turn a lot of heads. Authors will use pathos to get your emotions to pursued you to agree with the point that they are writing for or about."An author using pathetic appeals wants the audience to feel something: anger, pride, joy, rage, or happiness." It seems that titles and articles about things like "Son of prominent upper Eastside lawyer tragically dies in fatal automobile accident" are getting more attention than articles with titles that are like " Prices are rising on milk because of inflation" everyone wants to know what happened to the son in the car accident not so much about the milk gallons. Therefor the article about that will get more views and shares and reach more people all because this one made you feel.
