Taking a look at some archived front page newspapers, two that stuck out to me were the "U.S. Capitol Takeover; 2021" in January 2021. The photo they chose to grab consumers attention was a photo that looked like straight chaos in the capitol. This was a implication of a slight exaggeration as no one got hurt and even though they were trespassing, only roughly 100 people were in the capitol. There was no takeover done by the protestors and this event framed the Republicans and stained their reputation for a while. It was believed that the election was rigged and that is why they were protesting.
