In an article talking about Fake news in general, I wanted to take a closer look at the first section about Bots. The main angle the section takes is that automated bots, which account for about 7% of all social media accounts, spread misinformation by uploading and sharing content that has not been verified and into circulation with regular news to make it hard to know the difference. This information becomes hard to distinguish from what is real, especially since the average social media user takes information at face value and believes to some degree everything they see. The article uses logos by providing statistics and examples to their well made argument.
