Do people really even read the newspaper anymore? I mean why do we still make them if everything is electronic these days? Is it not just a waste of resources, time and money?
Well, the problem is that people like to make up stories, also referred to as fake news, these days to get more views, followers and likes on their social media pages. Print publication is now one of the most loyal and predictable readerships we have. Newspapers, brochures and magazines are able to stay in circulation for longer periods of time, whereas everything on the internet is constantly being edited and deleted. Another good thing about printed news is that it is often "reviewed multiple times" by multiple people before being published.
So next time you see a newspaper, take some time to read it. Some of the things that are printed on it are more true and real than anything on your facebook page.
