Chemical test

I conducted several chemical tests, and here are the results of them. In test one, I used copper sulfate and a small piece of steel wool; the steel wool was submerged in the copper sulfate, causing the steel wool to rust; rusting is a chemical reaction. "Rusting of iron refers to the formation of rust, a mixture of iron oxides, on the surface of iron objects or structures." [Byjus's]. In test two, I used zinc and hydrochloric acid; they were mixed and heated; this caused bubbling in the mixture and the release of H2 gas, which made a loud pop noise. Test three was the heating and evaporation of the zinc and hydrochloric acid mix to observe what remained; the remainder was an opake substance. Hydrofluoric acid and calcium carbonate were mixed; this mixture bubbled and released CO2, extinguishing flames. Test five used a magnesium strip; it was heated over a bunsen burner until it started to burn. The burning of magnesium caused a bright light emission.
