Egyptian: God of visual rhetoric

Visual rhetoric made manifest by ancient Egypt. The use of images to convey meaning was used by the ancient Egyptians some 6000 years ago BC. Hieroglyphic writing is visual rhetoric. " Hieroglyphics is an ancient Egyptian script and a premier example of a medium that combines word and image to convey meaning. "


Hieroglyph's utilize geometry. Circles, triangles, and other various shapes can be found. The monuments house pictorials including eye's, animals, beasts (know and unknown), to allude to, represent, and showcase various messages. A London based university hosted by an institution of archelogy held a virtual conference. Amr El Hawary, University of Cairo, termed Egyptian hieroglyph script "the visual speech of Heart." Aristotle has the Aristotelian triangle. The writings of Charles S. Peirce, the great original thinker, details a "doctrine of signs in relation to the external world they represent. He describes a universal triad that exists for the dissemination of information through language..."

Visual rhetoric is older than the written word of the infamous Bible.
