Fake News

"Get fit with this one tip,""NASA reveals an asteroid is extremely close to the Earth." Most people have clicked on this type of article at least once in their lives. Most of these articles are harmless and are just trying to get clicks for money. However, sometimes they can interfere with things like elections and other conflicts. Sometimes, a headline can be emotionally charged and pull at your heartstrings, or they can make you interested by using tantalizing words to lure the reader into reading. People usually create these stories or rumors to try to intentionally mislead and misinform people. Unfortunately, according to The Washington Post, most people don't even look into the article to determine whether or not it's fake before sharing it.
