Newsfeeds on the internet and social media may make inferences from many different types of sources, and the way many social media apps and news platforms decide which news to show in the feed is based mainly on popularity and what is most wanted by the public. Social media apps such as Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, and the list of social media apps that are here in the year twenty twenty-two could go on for paragraphs. Social media has grown immensely within the last decade. The popularity of social media in technology today has grown amongst all generations of the world, therefore leading more people to rely on social media apps and platforms for things such as mainstream news about celebrities, politics, and more. For example, On snapchat, a social media platform there are many stories from platforms such as daily news, and many more that show information on thighs such as politics and celebrities, although these sources are usually not true and or are trying to show subjects that are popular in media and in society among the people.
This is an example of how news in social media platforms and news stations can implicate news to seem more appealing to the public in order for the news to get better views.
Finding Fake News in News Feed:
Fake news in the news feed within social media apps and news websites is not always easily detected and can be very unforeseen by many individuals within society. Fake news can even be distributed by trusted websites and officials in many situations such as in political ways, although it is mostly distributed within celebrities in such situations. This can be proven in many examples of social media and on the internet, many individuals in today’s society get their top tier information off of social media and unreliable websites. For example, a reliable statistic study conducted is shown below of the estimated fake news consumed by individuals everyday of all age categories and through various types of social media platforms.

Front Page News is a form of news typically on the front page of a newspaper and is typically the stories that are most popular and or worthy of being on the front page. The way newspapers are organized is in a chronological type order. Newspaper companies will typically put the most important news articles and use pictures and big bold words in order to make it stand out more to the reader. The way Newspapers and the front page news is organized is similar to the way algorithms work in media.

The way it is organized shows the most important news of the day, the front page of the newspaper uses imagery and bold words in order for that topic to stand out most to people and causes it to catch the reader's eye, therefore leading more people to read it.

Fake News is everywhere in the world from social media apps, the internet, and other social media outlets. Fake news is dangerous due to the amount of young minds taking in false information, due to the lack of knowledge on a subject. The use of social media is very popular in today's society, due to the upcoming popularity in social media apps such as, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other internet and media sources. For example, many individuals, especially younger individuals will receive and intake information off of unreliable sources from the internet that are not backed up by fact. Individuals have taken false information from media sources and the internet and spread it across media, leading many other individuals to believe false information about subjects such as politics, celebrities, and even health.
Tiktok is a widely used app, very popular among young individuals throughout the world and has had a reputation with spreading false information, other known as Fake news and has caused a mainstream issue of false information about people, politics and even worldly issues.
