Even though this a post from Nieman Lab's was a prediction for 2021, it still is relevant this year. There is this huge divide between the Republicans and Democrats, so much so that there are different stories being issued on the same topic. From Nieman Lab's prediction, Raney Aronson-Rath said that the best things we can do is to look at both sides of the issue, the two different points of views, understanding where they come from and then forming an opinion based on the "shared truths." Not only do journalists to share the news, but share an opinion that has been made by finding the truths within the lies.
