This particular article is very short and is written with emotion, it almost comes off as hateful. The audience that was initially targeted was women athletes across the country or even the world and conservatives. However, with this very opinionated article, the audience it will attract will be predominately far- right conservatives. With comments like "America is sliding into a new Dark Ages, one where racism is approved if it's called "anti-racism," one where science means thou shalt not question Fauci, and one where men are women and women are men" it is hard to connect to the article that was written from emotion and anger directed at the far- left. This article could have been spun brilliantly in the favor of the initial targeted audience, but the use of too much pathos and opinions ruined the message.
