Fox News or New York Times?

After studying both news sources and their presentations, it is clear that there is a huge difference in the way they deliver the news. A recent incident that was all over the news was where Will Smith hit Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife. Most recently, both news sources have reported on the apology. Fox News included a video claiming that they had video footage of "Chris Rock spotted for the first time following Will Smith Oscars slap" (Fox News), followed by an explanation of how he is withdrawing from the academy. It was a short article, with the majority of the page being about the short video. In New York Times, The entire article was about his public apology, a majority of it in quotes from Will Smith himself. Such as, "I was out of line and I was wrong,” he said in the statement. “I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be.” (The New York Times). One seemed to focus on the drama of it, while the other explained in detail the events with quotes. In this specific example, it is clear New York Times has effectively shared this news.
