Over recent years, Frisco has grown immensely and has no sign of slowing down. While this is great for the city to have more and more residents enter every year, this creates one huge problem: we are growing too fast to keep up. The biggest issue that we have with the tremendous growth is that the influx of people in such a short period of time has lengthed our traffic lines and shortened our supply. Laura Rummel, senior director of the city council, understands this problem and wants to fix it. "Our priorities must include things like keeping up with our roads, staffing and supplying our public safety departments with the tools they need and ensuring we have a sufficient water supply (Rummel 5)." As long as Frisco can keep up with the ever-expanding population, we should be able to do just fine.
