Newspapers are designed to fit a lot of information into a relatively small space while also not being overwhelming to the reader. They do this by having minimal color, and what color is there goes together well. This is also helpful as it allows for most of the color to come from the photos that go with the news stories. This can be helpful as pictures give audiences a good idea of what the stories are about, which can be intriguing and draws in audiences without them having to actually read the newspaper. Newspapers also draw in their audiences by making the tittles of their biggest stories in large print on the front page and making sure they are the center of attention.
