Front page news is information that is important and can be on the front page of a newspaper. I read in an article, “The front page shows the qualities and identity of a paper”. It must attract the audience and have a good template. It can be announcements, deaths, entertainment, or celebrity gossip, etc. Most of the newspaper articles have up to 4 stories on the front page that are huge or significant. Some Newspapers focus on something different on the front page. The layouts are not the same and have multiple columns to be able to fit big stories on the front page. Looking at the Freedom Forum's " Today's Front Pages", I can see that newspapers don't necessarily have a cover, but a nameplate that is on top of the front page. Each one has images and is filled with new stories.
