You may have heard of TikTok, a recently blown up platform with big creators like Charli D'amelio, Addison Rae, and Jason Derulo. But if you haven't heard of TikTok, then you've most likely heard of Facebook which has been around since February 2004. A question that has dawned upon me is how do social media platforms like TikTok and Facebook share news? Well TikTok is an app of videos, so News Anchors like Fox News, CNN, NBC, and other mainstream news companies post 1-3 minute videos with updates on the news. There are also Individual creators like Jeff Helgott provide news on specific topics for communities that share the same interests. Facebook on the otherhand will have more posts sided from news anchors rather than indiviudal content creators.
