Journalism and the Future:

Journalism nowadays is facing great opportunities but also facing tough challenges in the digital media age. In fact, according to Robert Hernandez “Old journalism will be swept away and replaced by newer, younger, more diverse journalism…”

E-newspapers have quickly proved their attraction to the public, by conveying information to readers almost simultaneously with events and massive amounts of information, even without the limited capacity such as print newspapers, broadcasting time such as radio or television. Taking advantage of digital technology, several press agencies have quickly built a multi-media convergence newsroom with an increasingly modern working environment. Besides, the traditional method of making newspapers no longer attracts readers like before, most of them read, listen, and watch through digital media, along with the domination of social media.
