Journalists in the Wild

With the current era of social networks, the point of view of "journalism" has changed a lot compared to the previous era. Just a social network account such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram ... anyone has a "newspaper" of their own. With just a smartphone, travelers can instantly share their feelings and photos of the places they've been to with their friends, colleagues, and even the world. This has a great effect on promoting tourism to the public more easily when now hundreds of millions of people around the world are participating in social networks with high interactivity. On the other hand, the transmission of information and images in the most detailed, vivid, and attractive way to audiences is perhaps one of the most difficult things for wild journalists. According to Rhetorical Strategies: Building Compelling Arguments journalists have the tendency to use “Pathos: appeal to emotions, using vivid imagery adding descriptions of people, places, or events” that help the reader to feel or experience those events, the scenery.
