Building on what I said in one of my previous posts regarding news apps was the other option of how news apps tend to present their news. The first strategy that I talked about was presenting the news that was the most popular and trending. Now the second strategy that I learned about was that news companies can customize peoples' feeds based on what they look at and present articles that are relevant. I noticed how people that typically download apps that customize their feed typically have less time to look at the news so they really look at what is interesting to them versus what is interesting to the world as a whole. I find news apps to be a good source and I enjoyed learning about the strategies behind them.
