This Time story is a left leaning story that adamantly denies the existence of any problems within Comet pizza. The writer's goal is to strongly convince the reader that “Pizzagate” is a misinformation piece, put out by people wanting to hurt the Democratic Party, the Clinton foundation and the owner of the business. The author uses ethos and logos to protect Alefantis and the Clintons. He claims that the ethics of the Clintons are far from the ethics of pedofiles and that the disgusting claims were an attempt to defame those involved. However, logic, reasoning, and facts never lose. The extreme use of logos and having a credible forum to back him up is key to having a powerful counter.
