Museum vandal

On June 1st 9:40, Brian Hernandez waltzed into the Dallas Museum of Arts, which held precious, preserved, and invaluable art, and created havoc on three floors. Citizens are appalled at the lack of security for such a building holding histories of arts. Not entirely sure what motivated Brian, but he managed to destroy four pieces of arts. Three of which were Greek vessels stated to be from the 5th and 6th century BC, and a Native American artwork. This resulted in 300,000 dollars in damage. In response, museum leaders have stated, “we take very seriously the duty we have to our patrons, supporters, and the city of Dallas at large to be responsible stewards of the invaluable art in our care,”and that they would “ensure our security measures exceed best practice standards.”

The article uses pathos to convince the readers that the DMA would increase their security measures to give their supporters ease.
