Nation of Spies

Recently I watched the movie "Snowden" which is about a whistleblower from the united states. This movie is based on true events about a journalist named Edward Snowden, who released information gathered from the NSA for others to see.

He gained his notoriety after the top-secret information was published which caused the United States to attempt and extradite him. Though he betrayed the United States, he states in an interview "I haven't and I won't cooperate with Russia." I find it interesting how Snowden used his journalism skills to expose the intruding and unethical way of the government. Although breaking the law and becoming one of the most wanted men in the world, he did reveal the wrongdoings of the United States and their corruptness.
