Freedom of press hasn't always been a golden amendment to say the least. Just because the press has the freedom to preach about whatever they want does not mean they should. The damage they can cause because of false information has ravaged our society and put villainy labels on innocents. According to Laura E. Davis, “Media coverage contributes to an ecosystem that harms people and democracies, and we can’t ignore that context any longer.” Media coverage has a lasting effect on others and can damage their mentality heavily.
