Social media has grown immensely within the last decade. The popularity of social media in technology today has grown amongst all generations of the world, therefore leading more people to rely on social media apps and platforms for things such as mainstream news about celebrities, politics, and more. For example, On snapchat, a social media platform there are many stories from platforms such as daily news, and many more that show information on thighs such as politics and celebrities, although these sources are usually not true and or are trying to show subjects that are popular in media and in society among the people.
This is an example of how news in social media platforms and news stations can implicate news to seem more appealing to the public in order for the news to get better views.
