News Platform Tactics

The news you want to hear about depend on what news app you will choose to browse. If you want to learn about what's happening around you, then you'll open the google news app. If you want to be aware about what's happening in the lives of friends and family, then you'll choose to open Instagram or Snapchat, for example. There are more similarities on how news apps communicate the news rather than differences on how they do so. However, a major difference between the google news app is that the first thing you will see is breaking news or what's trending the most, but on social media platforms, you will typically first come across the most recent posts. To bring in the most users, according to "Digital News Fact Sheet," it has been proven that "outlets are also highly likely to use social media." The method news outlets use to reach a higher number of users varies. Almost 100% news outlets use newsletters, but only about 75% rely on podcasts. This can be reflected on how their news are delivered in terms of how well they can assure their users that the information they're reading is reliable.
