In modern times there are endless ways to receive news, but the delivery of this news can differ depending on the outlets you use. "News outlets are forms of mass media that focus on delivering news to the general public or a target public." Through these news outlets, information can be communicated in many different ways. While receiving news online it is common for many of the major news companies to have headline stories about the most relevant topics at the moment which are then followed by pictures, videos, and other smaller stories. An example of a different "news spreading" strategy is"CNN 10." This is a ten minute long video that compiles many different topics together in a short period of time. ABC, NBC, FOX ,and many other news outlets, include longer articles and videos that are uploaded to the app for people who enjoy reading through their news. Although CNN still includes these longer articles as well, they analyze the most important news and put it into a short, information-packed video which is very enjoyable for some individuals. The use of videos on news apps intrigues viewers and helped them visualize the information they are being given. The delivery of news can differ but overall, regardless of an article, video, or televised news, they are spreading the newest information to people worldwide and use analysis, description, and definition to communicate important news.
