Over population

Journalism Investigation

In today’s generation, issues are rising left and right everywhere. I live in Flower Mound, Texas and we have quiet a few community issues here. One of the biggest problems arising today is that the community is overpopulating and there is so much construction. It is understandable that everyone moves and seeks new jobs and opportunities, but it is becoming overwhelming for our community. There is no longer any more fields, trees, or even space where there isn’t a building being built. I asked my family their take on this issue and they had a lot of words to say. My mom, Amanda McLaughlin, said that “Flower Mound is no longer a home community, but now a constant construction zone.” Amanda was very emotional when speaking and use rhetorical strategies that appeal to emotion. Families are becoming very upset and irritated over this matter. I read World Population Review and was able to find statistics about Flower Mound. The town has grown by almost 30,000 people in the last 10 years!
