In my years of watching the news, reading it or even just hearing about it from a friend has totally changed now since we all have news at our fingertips through social media and online news platforms. There can be many differences when comparing these ways to hear about news. I came across an article that had a clear point regarding how social media is now more popular than newspaper or broadcast companies. The article claims that "twenty percent of U.S. adults" often use a social media platform to gather news information. Me personally being one of the twenty percent who uses a social media platform to gain news information I find it easier than having to read or sit down and watch the news at certain times when it is on. I believe that both of these are great ways to find news, but the most popular and easiest way to obtain news would have to be through social media.
