Every app. is created for a different purpose, but each one is competing with the other to get more views, likes and users. These apps, like Twitter, Tiktok, Instagram and Facebook all have different strategies for communicating news with its user. Some, however, are better at it than others and here is why.
If you have ever used Tiktok, you know that each account has its own "for you page". This is the page that shows you thousands of videos that the algorithm knows you will enjoy. This is why Tiktok blew up so quickly, because people want to see things they like without working so hard for it. Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram on the other hand do not utilize algorithms in this way.
